Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains what happens to the details you share through this website, and what you can ask us to do with them. We’ve kept it short and plain.
Who we are
This website is run by Memories To Cherish. You can email us at hello@memories-to-cherish.co.uk. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.
What we collect and why
When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. The message is stored on this website and emailed to us, so that we can read it and reply to you. We keep it until we delete it.
We don’t ask for anything else through this website, and we don’t sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
If a dedication page on this website includes you and you’d like something on it changed or taken down, email us and we’ll look at it with you.
Who looks after the website
This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design. They process the details sent through the website on our behalf, only as we instruct them, and they deliver its emails to us.
Cookies
The website sets two small cookies that every visitor needs: a session cookie, which lets the website remember you from one page to the next, and a security cookie, which protects the contact form from being misused. Neither is used to track you.
The website’s own visitor counts don’t use cookies at all.
If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, and nothing from them is set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser, so you won’t be asked on every page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them or delete them, and object to how we use them. Just email us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of the page.
